The Small Business Administration (SBA)

The SBA Learning Centre has a variety of webinars and online courses on different subjects catering to all kinds of businesses. They also provide training seminars, counseling and face-to-face training sessions for all small business owners.

IRS

IRS has several training and workshops for all small business owners who want to learn how to manage their tax. These events are sponsored and prepared by partners of federal agencies and focus on federal tax subjects. Their objective is to educate and guide businesses in managing and processing their tax efficiently.

SCORE

SCORE is a non-profit organization and a resource partner of the SBA. The nation’s extensive network of professional business mentors and volunteers devote their time to help small businesses start their business, and also grow and reach their objectives. SCORE has been helping small businesses since 1964 and has given training and mentorship to more than 11 million entrepreneurs nationwide.

Chicago

Business Tax Planning for 2020 in Chicago

Scheduled on January 30th 2020 at SBA Illinois District Office, this workshop is to teach small business owners how to prepare their taxes for the year 2020 appropriately. The topic that will be discussed includes changes to the tax structure for small businesses. The speaker will be Al Beheary - a financial consultant from Chicago. The event is free.

2020 Tax Update Seminar

This free seminar will talk about the changes in Federal and New York State Law and how it impacts small businesses. Some of the topics that will be discussed are strategic tax planning. IRS’ small business products will also be presented and distributed to all attendees.

Small Business Tax Workshop

This workshop will discuss the essential details for starting and managing your small business. In this workshop, you’ll learn about your responsibilities on bookkeeping and recording, forms of organization and accounting systems. Business owners will also learn about business income and deductions and how companies file and pay federal taxes. This workshop will be lead by a tax professional in partnership with the IRS. The IRS will provide all learning materials.

Small Business Development Center Workshops

Delaware provides various programs that discuss business start-up issues such as writing effective business plans, the risk and tax implications and strategic business and contingency plans, among other topics.

Programs and pieces of training are offered on live and online categories. The Delaware Small Business Development Centre sponsors these programs.
